Dr. Ray Islam (Mohammad Rubyet Islam)

Dr. Ray Islam is an AI scientist and global technology leader specializing in artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, and enterprise transformation. His career bridges academia, industry, and public service, with a focus on translating emerging technologies into practical, high-impact solutions.
He is the author of Generative AI, Cybersecurity, and Ethics (Wiley), catalogued by more than 500 universities and libraries worldwide, including Harvard, MIT, Yale, Cambridge, Oxford, and Univeristy of Toronto. The book was premiered at Black Hat (2025), one of the world’s leading cybersecurity conferences. Saudi Arabia’s Institute of Public Administration (IPA), a key public-sector institution supporting Vision 2030 through government workforce development, leadership training, institutional transformation, research, and advisory services, has partnered with Wiley to translate the book into Arabic and publish an initial 1,000 copies by 2028. Dr. Islam has earned academic degrees and worked across five countries on three continents, completed the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) MicroMasters in Statistics and Data Science, and is currently pursuing an ALM in Finance at Harvard University.
He has served as a professor and held AI, data science, and strategic leadership roles with organizations including Deloitte, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Booz Allen Hamilton, American Institutes for Research, and Carrefour. His professional experience spans finance, healthcare, energy, supply chain, manufacturing, defense, government, and technology, providing him with a broad cross-industry perspective on the application of AI and advanced analytics. His work has supported organizations including the White House, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force, NASA, U.S. Space Force, Department of Justice, Department of Commerce, GSA, FEMA, and Fiserv. He has architected and developed multiple AI solutions that are integral to operational and decision-support functions across U.S. government, military, and private-sector organizations. Dr. Islam has also founded AI and technology ventures and created educational programs and Udemy courses to prepare data scientists and data analysts. He has been recognized as an honored listee of Marquis Who’s Who for contributions to Education and Science & Technology, part of a biographical tradition spanning more than 125 years and noted for its influence on prominent figures such as Warren Buffett.
